The Lagos State Police Command has
detained Clarence Peters for questioning about the suspected murder of dancer
Love Divine, popularly known as Kodak.
Kodak was said to have been
electrocuted at Peters’ Omole Phase One residence while charging and using her
Iphone. She was reported to have worked
the plugged phone while sitting practically nude on the railings of the door
without putting a foot on. She was also said to have been burned on her chest
where her phone reportedly dropped as a result of the shock.

While initial reports suggested she died on a
music video set, it was nevertheless debunked as the planned video was alleged
to have been botched after her death.

From the gathered information, we learned that
Peters was invited to query on Saturday night at the State Criminal
Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, and has since
been detained.

Contacted, police spokesman Bala Elkana
confirmed Clarence Peters’ arrest, adding the command was investigating the
circumstances which led to the death of the dancer.

Elkana said he had been invited to query Peters
and all those who were at his residence when the incident occurred, adding that
he would not be able to provide more information at the moment.
On the allegation made by the dancer’s mother, on how someone is pretending to her, asking for donations, Elkana said there has been no formal impersonation complaint, adding that the video will be forwarded to SCIID for further action.
