Association, HURIWA, has called for the resignation of Ibrahim Magu, acting
Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, as head of the

prominent rights group has made the call. HURIWA warned Magu ‘s return to the
EFCC would make the fight against corruption a mockery of President Muhammadu

“HURIWA is calling on the suspended EFCC Acting Chairman; Ibrahim Magu to
resign so as not to destroy what remains of the anti-graft agency’s reputation
and the urgent need to expand the scope of investigation on all asset
forfeiture cases including Chief Emmanuel Nwude’s grave claim.
